Hall Black Douglas is an architectural design studio based in Belfast UK, with over  twenty  years  experience of delivering  high  quality contextual design. We continue to enjoy the challenge of creative collaborations with like minded professionals both locally and internationally. As designers we seek to create innovative and environmentally sustainable solutions to exceed our  client’s expectation.

Established as Partnership in 1986 by Rodney Hall, Mervyn Black and Stephen Douglas, the practice became a Limited Company in 2007 when Alistair Beckett and David Black joined Stephen and Rodney as Directors with Mervyn now acting in the role of Design Champion.

Having developed an extensive portfolio and reputation working in the UK and Ireland, Hall Black Douglas entered into the Indian market in 2010. This followed a period of three years considering the market and the quality of service able to be offered and delivered. To best  serve our Indian clients we have developed strategic relationships to ensure the quality of service we offer in the UK can be provided locally.

Studio 55 is an architectural design practice based in Pune. It’s  Directors, Siddharth Rajurkar & Girish Mohile, are India & UK trained and are currently working throughout India on a range of architectural schemes and interior designs.

Ideally  placed to deliver efficient and high quality architectural, interior and urban design in India, Hall Black Douglas in association with Studio 55 bring together decades of experience . Formed around two second generation practices, Hall Black Douglas & Studio 55 have a shared reputation for quality and integrity . We are currently working on a number of projects in Mumbai and Pune.
